The easiest way to get your location is to have access to a GPS receiver. Many cellphones contain a GPS chip (so calls to 911 are able to pinpoint your location), but you may need to call your carrier to find out how (or if) you can access any of its functions. Within the USA, GeoCoder and MapBlast! will give latitude and longitude information for street addresses, and AirNav will give latitude, longitude, and altitude information for airports, heliports, and other locations (good if you don't want to be too precise about your location). Australia is covered by the Gazetteer of Australia which includes not only cities and towns, but even railway stations (useful in larger cities for better precision). For countries not listed above, the Info Please is an easy to use site, but the NIMA Geonet Names Server may have more precise data for some countries. How do I get more images on my profile? Paid members can get more images on their profile simply by putting a
Wicked Talent banner on their personal site, Live Journal Account or any
other high profile site. Date specific blogs, google pages will not be
accepted. Myspace changes links outside of Myspace so the site cannot
view them as active links. Do NOT put wickedtalent.com as the link-back
site or you will be deleted from our system. Then just email me the url of where your banner link can be found (easily seen please) and I will give you another 5 images! Should you take the link down, you will lose the extra 5 images. Thank you for supporting and promoting Wicked Talent! Why can't I have nude images in my portfolio? Wicked Talent is a public site, available without censorship, to models and potential models under the age of 18 years old. We value our younger members and want to encourage them to pursue modeling appropriate for their age group. Concerned parents might also see a modeling site with nudity as a potential encouragement for their youth to pursue this work without their consent. Images with nudity will never be allowed on the Wicked Talent site. Please put black bars, pixelation over anything that would be covered by a bikini in the United States, or crop your image. Why can't I have url's on my image or in my profile? Wicked Talent is a not for profit company. That means no advertising of any sort on our site. A url on your images is advertising either your site or the photographer who took it. Watermarks are fine and encouraged. Feel free to have your stage name or photography studio's name on the image. Just no contact information like email addresses, phone numbers or urls. Frequently Asked Questions NON-MEMBERS Why didn't I get accepted into Wicked Talent? MODELS For many models, this is an upsetting email to get from us. They can sometimes view this as a personal blemish towards them. This however is never the case. The most common reason tends to be height. We are no longer accepting new models under 5'5". There are truly rare exceptions. The second most common reason is location. Models who live in undesirable locations have even fewer photographers and clothing companies to work with. While they might be willing to travel, the fact is that jobs that pay for you to travel are very, very rare. There are models in their area that they can work with and save alot of money. Other reasons range from a mainstream look, over size 7 dress size, to inclusion of online or real drama. We have a no tolerance policy on this and drugs on the set. So in short, please do not take it personally. If you want to model you absolutely should pursue it. There are other avenues for you to take and I'll be glad to try to direct you towards them. Why didn't I get accepted into Wicked Talent? PHOTOGRAPHERS As of November 2006, new photographers are "voted" in by existing members. This enables us to keep the standard that users of our site expect of the talent featured here while staying unbiased in a "one person decision" process. Why can't I sign up? I placed a link on my * page! GENERAL The site does not recognize plain text. www.wickedtalent.com is not
enough, it needs to be an active, clickable link in which your cursor
